If you desire to live alone in a secluded place and practice yoga for your own personal benefit that is very nice. However, if you want to help others by spreading Krishna consciousness, then that is far better.

Prabhupada involves his disciples in his worldwide preaching mission in his attempts that the Krishna consciousness will spread everywhere. Srila Prabhupada directs his disciples enthusiasm towards the goal of spreading Krishna consciousness. His disciples are instructed to perform public kirtana within the important cities of the world by taking mrdanga and karatalas so you can perform kirtana anywhere and achieve his mercy.

When Srila Prabhupada was in Paris, he explained to his disciples that the ISKCON organization is there since he has always been traveling, then he never sad down in his elderly years. Also, he goes on to explain to them that they should follow his example and preach to the world.

Srila Prabhupada made one visit to Red Square, Russia, which is where he preached to one boy. He told the boy that he wanted him to became his disciple and preach against the great state pressure. The boy, who became a disciple started preaching in many small centers.

Srila Prabhupada attracts attention in India with a solid international organization and disciples from many countries, Srila Prabhupada decided there was great potential to establish an influential preaching program in India. He sent a telegram to all of the temples in American that asked them to send at least fifty men from the United States to come to India immediately. When they arrived, the crowds flocked to the meetings to watch the western devotees perform public chanting in the Indian cities.

Prabhupada had anticipated that if the Indian people could see how the young western boys and girls were eagerly adopting the principles of the Krishna consciousness, then their own interest in the Krishna consciousness would become revived. He now had a means to preach to the people in India. Shaven headed dancing westerners that were wearing tilaka and chanting Hare Krishna as they quoted Sanskrit from Bhagavad gita were an immediate sensation. The people of India flocked together to watch this amazing display.

Many multiracial devotee gatherings, like the ones in Mayapur, West Bengal were a great attraction for many of the people from India. In the temples that were opened around India, Sri Dharma Mayapur is the birth place of Lord Chaitanya, and the head quarters of the ISKCON organization. The Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, West Bengal, where the city Srila Prabhupada has planned for forty thousand devotees was currently under construction. This amazing complex also hosts an annual gathering of devotees from all over the world.

After the opening ceremony for the Krishna Balarama temple in Vrindavana, in 1975, Srila Prabhupada commented on the temple's construction saying, "This temple construction is so important that I am willing to spend many millions of dollars to open temples like these." This beautiful temple, which is known as the Krishna Balarama Temple, is in Vrindavana.
