Did you know that you can use the power of your brain to dream whatever you want? You can apply lucid dreaming techniques to control your dreams and that can lead to problem solving, overcoming traumas, encouraging positive feelings within you, etc.

You can actually dream whatever you want in other words, control your dreams using the power of your brain. If you want to dream once more about your favorite celebrity kissing you, or want to speak to your dead loved one again through dreams, and so on, then, you should become aware of these lucid dreaming techniques and utilize them:

Firstly, you should have a notebook and a pen ready, or your laptop ready, so that you can write what you remember about what you've dreamt every night. You have to practice recalling the dreams, or make your mind's recalling capability better. For you to start to dream whatever you want or control your dreams, you have to easily remember dreams first, and by journaling regularly, you can make the power of your brain stronger, specifically in terms of dream recall. Listing down all the unique things in the dreams e.g. you were able to fly, you landed on the Moon, and so on, is one of the lucid dreaming techniques you should never forget as it will give you more awareness of the dream state as those experiences normally do not happen in real life.

Another technique is for you to write down what you desire dreaming about in your journal or type those desires into your computer. Describe every detail and draw the scenarios as much as possible. Next, review what you've jotted down and drawn over and over again before you sleep so you can dream whatever you want. Because of your reviews and because the scenarios and pictures have become etched in your mind, you'll find it easier to control your dreams as this technique will surely increase the power of your brain and make you a lucid dreamer.

One of the lucid dreaming techniques that are worth trying is also for you to believe that you can have lucid dreams. Before going to bed, repeat to yourself over and over again that you'll be able to recall whatever you've dreamt upon waking up. Take advantage of your mind's power. More often than not, what you believe in strongly will come true. If you want to dream whatever you want, therefore, you have to believe that you really can do that, because if you don't have strong belief, chances are, you really won't be able to engage in lucid-dreaming.

To control your dreams, remember too that you have to make an effort. For example, when you're inside your dream, or you're in the dream state, do something in the dream and don't just let the dream do the 'controlling'. Kick the garbage can, jump from one roof to another, skinny dip in the pool in the dream, and so on - do unusual actions in your dream frequently and you'll soon realize that you are really able to dream whatever you want.
