Aside from the start of Spring, Easter is being celebrated because it signifies that Jesus is alive. If you want to have a great party during that day, especially for your children, make sure to include Easter party games or Easter activities for kids.

One of the most favorite holidays of children is Easter. You see, in most households, it is a celebration of the opening of Spring season, not to mention, a celebration of the fact that Jesus is alive. If you want to make certain that you'll have a great party for your guests, most especially the kids, include some or all of these Easter activities for kids or Easter party games:

A. The Egg and The Spoon Race - this game requires raw eggs and spoons wherein each player will have a spoon with an egg on it, and then, they'll have to race the other players to the finish line without dropping the eggs. Another variation of this activity is the 'Walk the Egg' game wherein there's only one egg (can be hard boiled or raw) which has to be placed on a player's spoon, and then, that player will have to walk and go to the other player in his or her team and transfer the egg to that other player's spoon, and so on. The first team that's able to pass the egg to all the players of the team without dropping the egg or holding the egg is the winner.

B. Guess The Number Of Eggs - another suggested game that celebrates the day symbolizing Jesus is alive and that contributes to making a great party is the game of guessing how many chocolate eggs are in the jar. This is one of the Easter party games that's easiest to prepare for. You just need a jar, some chocolate eggs (make sure to count how many they are), and then, give the participants blank pieces of paper wherein they'll write their names and their actual guess of how many eggs are inside the jar. The person who has the right guess or the closest guess will become the winner. Of course, just like any of the Easter activities for kids, you should have a good prize for the winning guesser.

C. Pin The Tail On The Bunny - remember the game 'Pin the tail on the Donkey'? A variation of this that can relate to the occasion that Jesus is alive is called 'Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny'. It works this way: you should have a large cut out picture of the Easter Bunny, some cut out paper tails for the bunny, hang the Bunny's picture on the wall, and then, you blindfold all contestants who'll take turn pinning the tails on the picture. The one contestant who pins the tail closest to the Bunny's rear is the winner.

Of course, the most popular of all the Easter party games or the Easter activities for kids is the Easter Egg Hunt. See to it that you have colourful eggs or have attractively designed eggs (hard boiled ones). You may also opt for the plastic eggs sold at the malls and just fill those eggs' center with goodies e.g. candies and other sugary treats, little toys for the kids, or money.
