A diamond can be divided into three parts: crown, girdle and pavilion. Basically, the 4 Cs standard of a perfect ring are cut, color, clarity and carat. The quality of ring’s cut can be directly reflected by facet arrangement; shape and style are the other two major factors that affect diamond ring selecting. In this case, we want neither the crown of the ring too shallow nor the pavilion is too big. As per GIA clarity scale, you do not want the color of the stone less than Si 1 as well. There are also colorless diamond arranged from D. E. F. to G. H. I. J., among which categories D. E. F. are equally preferable. In terms of carat, it is necessary to bear in mind that “Bigger is not better.”
